Dr Dayo Fadelu - Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, USA

Dr Dayo Fadelu speaks to ecancer at the Global Health Catalyst Summit 2019 at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts about the use of electronic medical records in global oncology.

He starts by outlining how electronic medical records would lead to an increase in efficiency in low and middle income countries, and in particular his new system, OpenMRS.

Dr Fadelu explains how this system can be used across many countries as they face similar difficulties, and how the Open MRS system can be implemented ands customised.

He finalises by explaining how different countries are at different stages in this process, and it may be a while before everything is fully uploaded, but it will be of huge benefit when it is implemented.
