Prof Josep Ribera talks to ecancer at the European School of Haematology (ESH) meeting: International Conference on Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia about the management of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) specifically in adolescents and young adults.
He describes how these patients are currently managed which include using paediatric protocols along with the specific genetic features that they have.
To manage these patients more effectively in the future, Prof Ribera believes the current paediatric protocols need to be optimised and to involve these patients in more clinical trials.
