Prof Joan Haase speaks to ecancer at ONS 2019 about her work on resilience in adolescents and young adults with cancer, that was recognised by receiving the Distinguished Researcher Award at the meeting.

Prof Haase speaks about the concept of resilience and the qualities that her research has identified as being important to young patient's experiences dealing with cancer, and how this can be applied to foster resilience in these patients.

She also speaks about the workshop with young investigators she was part of, which shared knowledge about research grants.
